Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Die Vorlesung bietet einen Überblick über verschiedene methodische Zugänge psychologischer Forschung mit besonderem Schwerpunkt auf experimentellen und quasi-experimentellen Designs. Darüberhinaus werden Validitätsfragen, Stichprobenziehung (Zufallsstichprobe, geschichtete Stichprobe, Klumpenstichprobe), Fallzahlplanung, der Umgang mit fehlenden Werten, mixed methods und weitere ausgewählte Kapitel wie etwa die Methodik von PISA behandelt. Besonderen Wert wird auf die praktische Umsetzung unter Berücksichtigung der entsprechenden software gelegt.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Acquaintance with the most important aspects of research design and implementation and the consequences for the interpretation. First contact with the necessary procedures and software for the practical implementation.
