Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Die Vorlesung bietet einen Überblick über verschiedene methodische Zugänge psychologischer Forschung mit besonderem Schwerpunkt auf experimentellen und quasi-experimentellen Designs. Darüberhinaus werden Validitätsfragen, Stichprobenziehung (Zufallsstichprobe, geschichtete Stichprobe, Klumpenstichprobe), Fallzahlplanung, der Umgang mit fehlenden Werten, mixed methods und weitere ausgewählte Kapitel wie etwa die Methodik von PISA behandelt. Besonderen Wert wird auf die praktische Umsetzung unter Berücksichtigung der entsprechenden software gelegt.

Abschlussprüfung. Ein Taschenrechner darf verwendet werden.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Vertrautheit mit den wichtigsten Aspekten der Versuchsplanung und -durchführung und deren Konsequenzen für die Interpretation. Erste Bekanntschaft mit den zur praktischen Arbeit nötigen Prozeduren und Computerprogrammen.
