Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Introduction to qualitative research methods, in particular to interviews, group discussions, and image interpretations.

Assessment and permitted materials

Two written exams (mid-term, end-term) in German. Documentation of practical exercises contribute to the assessment of student's Performance.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Students are to develop a genuine understanding of qualitative research logic and get to know major qualitative methods of inquiry and interpretation, both as regards their theoretical-methodical foundations and their concrete research practice.
