Aims, contents and method of the course

Design and realisation of an empirical study, data analysis and interpretation

Assessment and permitted materials

Acquisition of skills in design and realisation of empirical studies, in data analysis and interpretation
Acquisition of skills in evaluation of empirical studies

Examination topics

Starting from existing studies in economic psychology (published in peer-reviewed english-language journals), each group will develop a research question. This course is project-oriented, and the groups will be responsible for the whole research project, i.e., hypotheses, design, material, procedure, sample, data collection and data analysis, presentation of results and discussion. A research report on the project is due at the end of the semester. Blended learning will be used for feedback loops and for provision of teachin material.
