Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Selected contents of developmental psychology are intensified in the course. In the lecture units (VO) an overview of central topics in current research is given. The closer examination on the basis of research literature takes place in the parallel practice units. In addition, excursions provide an insight into practice.
Objectives: Discussion of current and classical research on selected central topics in developmental psychology.

Assessment and permitted materials

Performance is assessed by means of short multiple-choice tests, which refer to the contents of the lecture units and the examination literature. In addition, a specific research topic is to be answered independently with the help of scientific articles and presented in a group work.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Please note that this course fully moved to e-learning since March, 10th, 2020. All necessary information about the new requirements for course completion are accessible on Moodle. Attendance and active participation are replaced by continuous online student video presentations, collaborative group work and submission of written individual assignments after each session.
