Aims, contents and method of the course

The aim of this seminar is the writing of a literature review in the field of market and consumer psychology.

Specific topics include: sharing economy, social dilemmas, digitization, internet piracy, sustainable consumer behavior.

The following competences are communicated:

- Research and critical analysis of scientific literature
- Construction of a literature review
- Development of a research question
- Development of an adequate research design
- Writing scientific papers
- Presentation of scientific papers

methods:
- 3-7 students work together in a team on a focal topic and develop joint research concepts
- The writing of the literature review takes place as individual work
- In the seminar the students are supported by the lecturers and peers by means of (peer) feedback
- In addition, content in consumer psychology and methodological knowledge are communicated by the lecturers

- writing of literature review

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Assessment Scale:

10% presentation of critical reading of scientific literature (in the group)
20% poster presentation (individual)
20% 2 peer reports of other literature reviews (individual)
50% literature review (individual)
