Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Based on pivotal journal articles in English students will acquire knowledge about the concepts of learning and feedback. What does learning mean? What is feedback? Is feedback helpful to enhance learning? We will work on questions regarding the content as well as research methodology.
Assessment and permitted materials
individual performance (e. g. homework after every seminar unit) and group performance (e.g. organisation of one seminar unit); details in the seminar
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
After the seminar students should know pivotal theoretical concepts, understand their empirical research and know the effects of feedback on the learning process and achievement. The central aim of the seminar is to sharpen student's scientific perspective on learning and feedback and that they attempt to act on this knowledge.
