Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Students will construct and conduct their own empirical research studies (either individually or in small groups), including data analysis, and write a research paper.
Methods: (a) Development of studies and data collection, and (b) writing an empirical research paper (Theory and Hypothesis, Methods, Results, Discussion).
Goals: To learn to independently develop study designs, get acquainted with materials and methods, conduct studies (collect data), analyze data and document the research.

Assessment and permitted materials

Cumulative individual assessment: Evaluation of contribution to group work on the research study (20%), quality of study materials and data collection (20%) and research paper (60%).
