Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Money is a general mediator of economic exchange. Fundamental social and cognitive mechanisms are discussed which are essential to the functioning of this mediator. Social dependency, trust, and reputation are important aspects not only of money, but of economic action in general. Contributions of the anthropologic, historic, economic, sociologic as well as psychologic sciences will be discussed for the better understanding of economic life.
