Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The lab course starts with an introduction to the topic of visual search and seeing. Next, the teacher reviews potential research questions to be addressed in the lab course. Under supervision of the teacher, students develop an experimental operationalization of their chosen question in a small research group of 5 members. Each group conducts an experiment corresponding to its research question completely on its own. With the help of the supervisor, each group analyzes the results and drafts a research report about its experiment in English. The drafts have to adhere with the formal requirements of the American Psychological Association.
