Aims, contents and method of the course

AIMS: The course is intended to provide the sufficient knowledge to do scientific work. In particular the following goals will be achieved along the course:
1) be able to prepare the material for answering the proposed research question
2) be able to collect the data
3) be able to analyze the data
4) be able to interpret the data

CONTENT: The main topics covered by the course relate to: social cognitive neuroscience, empathy, emotions, disorders of social cognition such as autism and alexithymia Expose of the research project, plus presentations during the course.

Method: students´ presentations.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Students have to actively collect, analyze an and interpret the data of their research project.
Students must attend the lecture plus individual/group supervision in extra hours beside the frontal lectures (2h per week)
