In this seminar, we will first aim at understanding the methodological underpinnings of neurofeedback. Subsequently, we will discuss neurofeedback for cognitive enhancement and clinical interventions.Specifically, we will address the following questions:
- What cutting-edge technology is needed for implementing real-time fMRI neurofeedback?
- What are the psychological and biological factors underlying successful neurofeedback training?
- What can neurofeedback tell us about the brain-mind relationship?
- How can neurofeedback be established as a novel therapeutic approach?
