Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Ziele: Das Kennenlernen und Verstehen der Grundlagen und Anwendungen von Meta-Analysen und systematischen Reviews; Erwerb entsprechender Kenntnisse sowie Üben und Vertiefen dieser Kompetenzen; Vorbereitung auf ein entsprechendes Masterarbeitsthema (Meta-Analyse/systematischer Review) am Arbeitsbereich Forschungsmethoden bzw. Anregung dazu.

Inhalte: Einführung in die Methoden der Forschungssynthese und Forschungsintegration (Meta-Analysen und systematische Reviews).

Methoden: Gruppenarbeit, Präsentation, Diskussion, kritische Reflexion ausgewählter aktueller publizierter Meta-Analysen. Die Präsentation umfasst einen Inhalts- und einen Anwendungsteil. Der Inhaltsteil umfasst die Präsentation von Methodenliteratur (Meta-Analysen/systematische Reviews). Der Anwendungsteil umfasst die praktische Umsetzung und Demonstration der SE-Inhalte. Die SE-Teilnehmer*innen fertigen unter Anleitung und Hilfestellung über den Verlauf des Semesters gemeinschaftlich eine kleine Meta-Analyse an ("kollektives Werkstück" des SE).

Assessment and permitted materials

- Aktive Teilnahme an Diskussionen und am Peer-Feedback zu den Präsentationen von Kolleg*innen
- Präsentation in Kleingruppe
- Anteilige Mitwirkung an der praktischen Umsetzung der SE-Inhalte (gemeinsames Anfertigen einer kleinen Meta-Analyse, unter Anleitung und Hilfestellung, durch die SE-TeilnehmerInnen).
- Abfassen eines Protokolls

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Die Präsentation macht 50% der Endnote aus, die Mitarbeit am gemeinsamen Projekt 40%, das Protokoll 10%.

Im Rahmen der LV ist die Verwendung von KI-Tools (ChatGPT etc.) *ausschließlich* zur Verbesserung des *sprachlichen Ausdrucks* selbstgeschriebener Texte gestattet. Jegliche andere Verwendung zur Erstellung von Inhalten, die notenrelevant für diese LV sind (zB Referate), wird zu einer negativen Beurteilung führen.
