Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Considering conventional and recent developmental theories, the lecture conveys milestones in the individual development of human beings. The students acquire knowledge of the most important developmental phenomena in human life, e.g. antenatal/postnatal development, cognitive and socio-cognitive development, as well as developmental disorders. Furthermore, research methods in developmental science are presented.
Assessment and permitted materials
- Written exam digitally (4 possible exam dates)
- Multiple choice test (20 questions with 5 alternative answers, of which 1-4 alternatives can be correct): 30 minutes exam time
- No auxiliary materials are allowed

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Minimum criterion for a positive grade: 60% of the maximum achievable points in the MC test
Grade 1: 90 – 100%
Grade 2: 80 - 89%
Grade 3: 70 - 79%
Grade 4: 60 - 69%
Negative assessment: less than 60% of the achievable points
