Aims, contents and method of the course
The Master’s seminars of Profs. Zemp and Scharnowski are merged for organizational reasons. Students who want to do their Master’s Thesis project with either Prof. Zemp or Prof. Scharnowski have to enroll in this seminar (200183 SE Masterarbeitsseminar). They will be affiliated with only the lab where they are carrying out their Master’s Thesis project.The Master’s seminar of Prof. Scharnowski serves to supervise the design, implementation, analysis and discussion of Master Thesis projects. Projects aim at better understanding psychological phenomena through developing and applying novel methods (including brain imaging, neurofeedback, computational modelling, …).
Assessment and permitted materials
Presence; active participation; peer-feedback on the presentations of fellow students, presentation of the own Master’s project (planning stage or reporting and discussion of results)
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Presentation of the Master’s project (planning stage in the first semester, reporting and discussion of results in the second semester)
