Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The seminar consists of two parts:Part A consists of an introduction to essential topics in General Psychology such as literature search, scientific reading and writing, and basic methodology.Part B consists of student presentations and subsequent discussions.
Assessment and permitted materials
Active participation, quality of the short talks and a short exam.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
1) To provide insight into important areas of scientific work, such as searching for literature, making citations, and designing experiments.2) To integrate theoretical content (part A) into the presentations.3) To provide content knowledge in the area of cognitive psychology.
Examination topics
- Theoretical introduction (Part A)- Reading and whole-class discussions following the student presentations (Part B)- Short presentations (Part B)- Discussions- Participation in experiments
