Aims, contents and method of the course
Das Seminar gibt einen Überblick über Forschungsdesigns und statistische Methoden in der Entwicklungspsychologie. Verschiedene Arten von längs- und querschnittlichen Designs werden diskutiert und Methoden der Datenanalyse anhand von Beispielen vorgestellt; Vor- und Nachteile sowie die Anwendbarkeit unterschiedlicher Designs und Methoden für unterschiedliche Forschungsfragen in der Entwicklungspsychologie werden beleuchtet.
Assessment and permitted materials
Anwesenheit, Referat und Handout, Diskussionsbeiträge.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Erwerb vertiefter Kenntnisse im Bereich der Studienplanung, Datenauswertung und der Interpretation von Studienergebnissen.
Examination topics
Referate zu ausgewählten Themen mit anschließender Diskussion.
