Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The emphasis of this course will be on methodologies used in Vienna: EEG, TMS and fMRI as well as combined EEG-fMRI. After an introduction into these methodologies, different experimental designs and their analysis and interpretation will be taught.
Assessment and permitted materials
Bei dieser Lehrveranstaltung besteht immanenter Prüfungscharakter! Die Beurteilung erfolgt aufgrund des in Zweiergruppen bearbeiteten und präsentierten Themas sowie der einzeln und in Gruppen zu bearbeitenden Themen. Bei Bedarf wird nach dem Grundlagenteil und am Ende der Lehrveranstaltung eine schriftliche Prüfung durchgeführt.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
This course will teach students some of the research tools needed in social cognitive neuroscience to become an independent researcher.
Examination topics
Following a general introduction about research methods in cognitive neuroscience, students will work on different topics.
