Aims, contents and method of the course
Einführung in die Anomalistische Psychologie, Geschichte der Parapsychologie, Erklärungsansätze des Paranormalen, Probleme des empirischen Nachweises paranormaler Phänomene, Determinanten des Glaubens an paranormale Phänomene, empirische Überprüfung der Astrologie, psychologische Mechanismen der Astrologiegläubigkeit.
Assessment and permitted materials
Kurzer Wissenstest, Referat oder Seminararbeit, Mitarbeit.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Vermittlung von Basiswissen über paranormale Phänomene aus wissenschaftlicher Perspektive. Selbstständige Fachartikelrecherche. Schriftliche und mündliche Präsentation und Diskussion verschiedener Themenbereiche.
Examination topics
Impulsreferate der Lehrveranstaltungsleitung, Referate der StudentInnen, Diskussionen in Kleingruppen und im Plenum, Kleingruppenarbeiten, Experimente, Filme.
