Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Der Lektürekurs gibt eine Einführung in das politische System Österreichs und der Europäischen Union und beleuchtet Veränderungen in Österreich als Ergebnis des europäischen Integrationsprozesses. Im Mittelpunkt des Kurses stehen politische Institutionen (Regierung, Parlament, Wahlen, Zivilgesellschaft etc.), die mit Blick auf ihre Funktionen in einem demokratisch verfassten Gemeinwesen diskutiert werden. Berücksichtigt werden sowohl der historische Entstehungskontext als auch aktuelle politische und politikwissenschaftliche Debatten um Defizite und Reformperspektiven.
Assessment and permitted materials
Kursanforderungen: regelmäßige, aktive Teilnahme (max. 2 mal Fehlen), Lesen der Pflichtliteratur (inkl. wöchentliche Abgabe eines Arbeitsauftrages), Kurzpräsentationen, Abgabe einer Prüfungsarbeit am Semesterende.
