Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The lecture introduces historical, conceptual and theoretical basics of the subject of International Politics. The lecture is accompanied by lecture courses, which have different thematic foci.

Assessment and permitted materials

There will be a written exam at the end of the semestre. Due to Covid-19, it will be held as an online exam via moodle.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Please calculate about five hours weekly to read (and if possible, excerpt) the texts carefully.
Additional texts will be provided on the moodle-platform. They can better the understanding of the required readings, but are not themselves relevant for the exam.

Examination topics

Both the lecture itself and the required readings are relevant for the exam. For a positive grade, it is not sufficient to study from the lecture presentations.

The exam will be held online via moodle.

Reading list

You can buy the reader with the required literature at diekopie (Franz-Josefs-Kai 33, 1010 Wien oder Universitätsstraße 8, 1090 Wien). For those who cannot buy the reader, the readings will be made available on moodle as well.
