Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Joint readings and discussions of key documents, speeches, articles, scholarly literature etc. with focus on the "founding fathers" of the EU as well as key persons in the European integration process.

Assessment and permitted materials

For each weekly meeting all participants have to read the assigned texts, prepare notes and participate in the discussion, if necessary on the basis of individual call ups. In addition each participant has to write a paper on an issue to be agreed.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Jointly gain new perspectives and a better understanding of the European integration process.

Examination topics

Reading, discussion, presentation/writting of paper.
