Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The seminar provides the conceptual, theoretical and methodological tools necessary to understand and research critically terrorism, radicalisation and the counter-terrorism policies of the EU. The seminar has the following objectives: adoption of the most important concepts in terrorism research; mastering of the most important terrorism theories, argumentation skills and the use of analytical methods; use of the conceptual and theoretical knowledge in concrete empirical cases; critical evaluation of existing approaches and policies.
Assessment and permitted materials
This occurs through written quizzes, group discussions and a role-play game.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Presence, participation in group discussions and the role-play game, as well as a minimum of 50 out of 100 points at the quizzes.
