3.00 ECTS (2.00 SWS), SPL 21 - Politikwissenschaft

Die Lehre wird im SoSe 2021 zu Beginn voraussichtlich digital stattfinden. Je nach Lage wird auf hybride oder Vor-Ort-Lehre umgestellt. Die Lehrenden werden die konkrete Organisationsform und Lehrmethodik auf ufind und Moodle bekannt geben, wobei auch mit kurzfristigen Änderungen gerechnet werden muss.

Nicht-prüfungsimmanente (n-pi) Lehrveranstaltung. Eine Anmeldung über u:space ist erforderlich. Mit der Anmeldung werden Sie automatisch für die entsprechende Moodle-Plattform freigeschaltet. Vorlesungen unterliegen keinen Zugangsbeschränkungen.

VO-Prüfungstermine erfordern eine gesonderte Anmeldung.
Schummelversuche und erschlichene Prüfungsleistungen führen zur Nichtbewertung der Lehrveranstaltung (Eintragung eines 'X' im Sammelzeugnis).

Aims, contents and method of the course

The lecture provides an introduction to key concepts and issue areas of gender research in political science. The students are introduced to feminist, queer, postcolonial and intersectional approaches.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, the course will take place in a hybrid format. Details will be announced in good time before the beginning of the semester via Moodle and u: find.
Regardless of the format, the course takes place every Wednesday from 11.30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Assessment and permitted materials

Students complete the lecture with a written exam in the last session, further exams will take place during the winter semester 2022.
For the time being, the first exam is planned as a digital, open book exam with an exam sheet to download and upload via Moodle. Students have a total of three hours to answer three open essay questions. The answers can be written in German or English.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Grading scale:

60-57 Punkte = very good
56-50 Punkte = good
49-42 Punkte = satisfactory
41-33 Punkte = adequate
32-0 Punkte = unsatisfactory
