Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

It is the objective of this course to deepen the theoretical and methodological understanding of the discipline. For that purpose, students are expected to write a political science BA-thesis including a clear research question, brief review of the relevant state of the art, a theoretical framework and a methodological section. The seminar will assist the student in writing her thesis and providing individual feedback.

Assessment and permitted materials

1) Writing a BA thesis (25-25pp)
2) submission of 2 proposals and 1 draft (i.e. in addition to the BA thesis, students have to hand in three texts during the seminar)
3) 2 presentations of proposals
