Aims, contents and method of the course

- Deepening of theoretical and methodological skills, especially in the area of ​​security research and policy
- Ability to independently develop a scientific text, including empirical data collection and evaluation, as well as scientific writing.

Content focus: terrorism, radicalization, deradicalization, extremism, internal security.

Assessment and permitted materials

Compulsory attendance in the first course unit

- Written concept of the bachelor thesis
- Presentation of the concept
- Compulsory attendance and participation in discussions
- Writing the bachelor thesis

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The overall grade results from the assessment of the partial achievements, whereby the bachelor thesis makes up 65% of the overall grade.
