Aims, contents and method of the course

Bachelorarbeiten werden vorzugsweise zu folgenden betreut: Themen globaler Entwicklung, Kolonialismus und Postkolonialismus, Internationale Politische Ökonomie, Postkoloniale Theorie, die Entwicklung von Regimen (Handels-, Sicherheits-, Umweltregime ...), Internationale Organisationen, Lateinamerika, internationale und lokale Frauenbewegungen, feministische Analysen Internationaler Politik sowie Theoriedebatten in den Internationalen Beziehungen

Die Bachelorarbeit dient der Vertiefung der theoretischen, fachlichen und methodischen Kompetenzen und hat die eigenständige Bearbeitung einer selbst gewählten politikwissenschaftlichen Fragestellung zum Ziel. Das Bachelorseminar begleitet den Entstehungsprozess der Bachelorarbeit, indem die Fortschritte der Recherche, des Erarbeitens und des Schreibens mit den LV-Leiterin und mit den anderen Bachelorkandidat_innen erörtert werden.

Gestaltung und Ziele der Einheiten
• Wissen um das Erstellen einer wissenschaftlichen Arbeit und politikwissenschaftliches Arbeiten sowie Theorie- und Methodenwahl, Literaturrecherche etc.
• Präsentation eines Forschungsexposés in der LV
• Bericht und Diskussion über den Fortschritt der Bachelorarbeit
• Umsetzen des Erlernten im eigenen Forschungsprozess
• Verfassen der Bachelorarbeit/Verschriftlichung der Forschungsergebnisse in der Bachelorarbeit

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

• Verfassen und termingerechte Abgabe der Bachelorarbeit
• Erarbeitung einer Forschungskonzeptes über die eigene Themenstellung
• Präsentation der eigenen Arbeit und Kommentar zu Forschungskonzepten der Kolleg*innen
• Einzel- bzw. Kleingruppenbesprechungen

Für einen positiven Abschluss der Lehrveranstaltung sind alle Teilleistungen zu erbringen
Die Teilnehmer*innen können max. zwei Einheiten fehlen.
