Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This seminar is on the EUls effects on member states over time.

Assessment and permitted materials

The studentsl work will include, most importantly: several practical exercises (researching high quality articles and books, assembling lists of references, summaries of articles and relevant public events); to prepare and present, in various stages, a seminar paper regarding one or several EU policies, possibly in working groups. Regular and active participation in the seminar is indispensable. Good speaking and writing skills in the English language are required since all work is done in English.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Goal of this seminar is to deepen the studentsl understanding of European Integration.

Examination topics

Methods will include, inter alia, introductory presentations by the Professor, group discussions, reading and working with primary sources and secondary literature, research via the internet.
