Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Dieses Seminar beschäftigt sich Koalitionsregierungen, welche in vielen europäischen Staaten die Norm sind. Ziel des Seminars ist die Bildung, Arbeit und Stabilität von Koalitionsregierungen zu erklären. Dazu werden die wichtigsten Theorien zu den drei Aspekten gemeinsam erarbeitet. Es wird untersucht welche Faktoren die Regierungsbeteiligung einer Partei wahrscheinlicher machen und welche Partei bei Verhandlungen um Posten und Politikinhalte am erfolgreichsten ist. Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt des Seminars sind Theorien, welche die Arbeitsweisen von Koalitionsregierungen erklären. Schließlich werden Erklärungsansätze erarbeitet, die Einblicke in die Stabilität von Koalitionsregierungen geben. Unter scheitern Koalitionsregierungen bereits vor der nächsten Wahl?

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
- Anwesenheitspflicht in der ersten Einheit
- Regelmäßige Teilnahme (d.h. maximal zweimaliges Fehlen) – unbedingte Anwesenheit in der ersten Einheit.
- Bereitschaft zur Mitarbeit im Seminar
- Halten eines Referats zu einem festgelegten Termin
- Zeitgerechte Abgabe von mindestens fünf Reaction papers im Laufe des Semesters
- Zeitgerechte Abgabe einer Seminararbeit, die den formalen Kriterien entspricht (letzter Abgabetermin: 30.8.2018)
- Regelmäßige Teilnahme (d.h. maximal zweimaliges Fehlen) – unbedingte Anwesenheit in der ersten Einheit.
