Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The master seminar serves the preparation of the master thesis. The status or progress of the master's thesis are presented and discussed in the seminar. The goal is (if possible in the course of a semester, but still at the student's own pace) to specify the topic of the thesis, to develop a feasible research question, to find suitable theories to address the research question, to choose material and methods, and finally to conduct the analysis of the MA thesis. During the semester, questions about formalities of the MA thesis can also be clarified.

Methods are presentation of the progress of the MA thesis (written pre-sending of text or ideas), commenting by fellow students and SE instructor.

Assignments for presentations as well as feedback will be made in the first session. Please be present.
