Aims, contents and method of the course

Kritische Weißseinsforschung entwickelt sich seit wenigen Jahren auch im deutschsprachigen Raum als eine Analyse jener gesellschaftlichen Verhältnisse, Subjektivierungen und Sprechpositionen, die gewöhnlich als normal und universell gelten: die weiße Perspektive. Alles davon Abweichende wird in der Regel als anders oder fremd markiert. Wie stellt sich aber Weißsein her, wie materialisiert es sich und wie ist es mit Geschlecht verwoben? In diesem Seminar sollen avancierte rezente Ansätze in der deutschsprachigen Weißseinsforschung analysiert und diskutiert werden.
