Aims, contents and method of the course

Einblicke in die Welt des Mulitmediajournalismus, Online-Recherche, Redaktionelle Arbeiten, Open-Source-Systeme. Spezielle die Möglichkeiten eines Content-Management-Systems werden ausführlich behandelt. Dazu zählen Handfertigkeiten im grafischer (Bildbearbeitung, Theming,...) und multimedialen Bereich. Es werden grundlegende technische Aspekte vorgestellt (responsive Design, social networks, SEO, Usability und
Accessibility) um diese dann auch in der Praxis anwenden zu können.

Assessment and permitted materials

Beurteilt werden die aktive Teilnahme am Kurs, die Umsetzung der geforderten Aufgaben und die Präsentation der Ergebnisse.

Kennenlernen des Berufsbildes Multimedia-Journalist/in und der grundlegenden journalistischen Arbeitstechniken in diesem Bereich am Beispiel der MultiMedia-Redaktion der APA - Austria Presse Agentur. Inhalte: Nachrichtenbewertung und -auswahl, Textformate, multimediales Storytelling, Foto- und Videojournalismus, Konzeption interaktiver Grafiken, Content Marketing, SEO, Redaktionstechnik (CMS)
