Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Die Vorlesung dient der Vertiefung von Fachwissen. Ziel ist die systematische Darstellung des Wissensstands im Bereich Politische Kommunikation. Dabei werden zentrale Theorien, Modelle und empirische Befunde beleuchtet. Ziel ist es, dass Studierende Politische Kommunikation in mediatisierten Gesellschaften verstehen, durchschauen und beurteilen können.Grob gliedert sich die Vorlesung in folgende Bereiche: Medienpolitik und politische Kommunikation, Basistheorien zur Analyse politischer Kommunikation, Strukturen, Akteure sowie Prozesse politischer Kommunikation.Auch aktuelle Themen und Phänomene werden behandelt. Im Rahmen der Vorlesung und der freiwilligen Bonusaufgabe werden Sie sich deshalb mit folgenden Fragen beschäftigen: Wie verändert die Digitalisierung die politische Kommunikation? Was macht populistische Parteien aus? Welche Rolle spielen die Medien im Wahlkampf? Wie berichten Medien über PolitikerInnen und BürgerInnen? Was weiß man über Medienwirkung im politischen Kontext? Welche Formen politischer Partizipation gibt es?
