Aims, contents and method of the course

Students will become familiar with qualitative analysis methods. The course will focus on verbal as well as visual communication research.
Stepwise development of a research report with instructor supervision, and presentation.

Assessment and permitted materials

On-time completion of all assignments: concept incl. research design (max. 30 points), presentation/handout (max. 15 points), research report (max. 55 points)
Grading scale: Very good: 90-100, good: 80-89, satisfactory: 70-79, just sufficient: 60-69, insufficient (failed): <60
