Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Hauptinhalt der Lehrveranstaltung ist die Berichterstattung zu Themen aus unterschiedlichen Bereichen (Politik, Sport, Wirtschaft, Chronik) in Textform (Artikel mit max. einer Seite Umfang) und der Entwurf einer jeweils dazu passenden Infografik.

Bewertet werden die abgegebenen Texte und Infografiken zu den einzelnen Aufgabenstellungen
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Für den Redakteur erstreckt sich der Aufgabenbereich weit ins „Blattmachen“ hinein, er ist täglich mit der Frage konfrontiert: Wie kann das Thema optimal im Blatt dargestellt werden, welche Inhalte sind visualisierbar ? Infografiken sind geeignete Werkzeuge, um Zahlen, Daten, Fakten, Lokalisierungen und komplexe Zusammenhänge auf den Punkt zu bringen. Die Beschäftigung mit den unterschiedlichen Darstellungsformen ist essentiell für zielführende Recherche und Zusammenarbeit mit den Kollegen aus Artdirektion, Layout und Grafik. Ziel der Übung: Anwendungsgebiete und Darstellungsformen der Infografik, redaktionelles Zusammenspiel Textredakteur-Grafiker.
Examination topics
Neben Einführungen in die Möglichkeiten in Text und Grafik steht die praktische Übung im Vordergrund: Gearbeitet wird in Zweiergruppen mit der Rollenverteilung Textredakteur und Infografiker
