• Erarbeiten von PR-Konzepten zu frei wählbaren Themen
Die UE-PR wird als Block an sieben Donnerstagen angeboten und wird sich dem Thema strategische Konzeption der PR-Arbeit widmen. Die in den AT-PR präsentierten Techniken werden an praxisnahen Aufgabenstellungen diskutiert, erprobt und in "Übungsagenturen" (Kleingruppen) zu strategischen PR-Konzepten geformt.

"Strategien der PR im Kulturbereich"

Die LV führt in die PR-relevanten Spezifika des Kulturbereichs ein und behandelt anhand von Beispielen die Erstellung eines PR-Konzepts. Dazu kommen Übungen zur Verteiler-Erstellung und zum Verfassen von Pressetexten, verbunden mit einer Übersicht zur Medienarbeit im Kulturbereich.

Sie erhalten in diesem Semester die Gelegenheit, Kultur-PR und Medienarbeit in einer realitätsnahen Übungssituation kennen zu lernen. Die Exkursion zur PR-Abteilung einer Wiener Kulturinstitution bietet unmittelbaren Einblick in die Praxis

Aims, contents and method of the course

The course establishes at first the basics of public relations - goals, target audiences, messaging , communication channels. Following that it goes deep into the intersect of political communication and online communication. Examplified with campaigning tactics and mobilizing strategies, we discuss how online communication changes political communication for parties, NGOs or issues.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The goal is the establishment PR and political communication basics.

- complete attendance in all 3 Workshop days
- active, full alertness of all participants to the objective and tasks,
- results of the working Groups and individual contributions
- 2 pages of stand-alone, high quality thoughts on CFS* each

1. to acquire an insight and understanding of sustainability and its communication

Von Spenden & Sponsoring zu Corporate Social Responsibility
Die Übung bietet eine Einführung in das Thema Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), einen Überblick über unterschiedliche Kooperationsmöglichkeiten zwischen NPOs (Non Profit Organisationen) und Unternehmen sowie über die Besonderheiten von Non-Profit-PR.
Was ist CSR? Was ist der Unterschied zwischen Spenden, Sponsoring und strategisch angelegten Partnerschaften? Wie entstehen sinnvolle Kooperationen zwischen NPOs und Unternehmen? Welche Erwartungen haben Unternehmen an NPOs und umgekehrt? Diese und weitere Fragen werden an Hand von vielen praktischen Beispielen und Übungen erläutert.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Die TeilnehmerInnen sollen am Ende der Übung ernst gemeinte CSR von Alibi-Aktionen unterscheiden können, die unterschiedlichen Kooperationsmöglichkeiten zwischen NPOs und Unternehmen kennen sowie in der Lage sein, eigenständig ein Kooperationskonzept zu verfassen.

Group 8

Bei dieser Übung handelt es sich um ein Bootcamp. Unsere Übung ist für Studierende konzipiert, die von Politik fasziniert und begeistert sind. Die wissen und üben wollen, wie man Politik macht und welche Rolle man als PR-Profi dabei spielen kann und soll!
Aber Achtung: Es ist ein Bootcamp. Wenig Frontal-Vortrag, viel Handeln. Sie sind gefragt: Hören, Denken, Umsetzen! Wir freuen uns auf TeilnehmerInnen die wollen. Wir empfehlen ein Tablett oder Notebook mitzubringen.
