Aims, contents and method of the course
The exercise should provide practical insight into the daily work in the area of "advertising". The goal for each participant at the end of the semester is to have an exact idea of how a campaign will develop: from creating an agency briefing, through agency screening, re-briefing, the strategic approach, to the creative development of concrete ideas. The exercises take place in small groups, these groups must work together, create presentations together and present them.

Aims, contents and method of the course
Ziel dieser LV ist, den StudentInnen eine praktische Einführung in die Erarbeitung und Ausführung von 360° Werbekampagnen zu geben. Sie erhalten sowohl den theoretischen als auch praktischen Hintergrund zum Design und der Produktion einer Werbekampagne.Nach einer ersten Pitch-Phase von einer 360° Kampagne folgt eine Einführung in das Fernsehzuseherquotensystem und VALS als Basis zur Analyse der Zielgruppen.Nach einer theoretischen Einführung in best und worst case Beispiele werden die StudentInnen in kleinen Teams (3 TeilnehmerInnen pro Gruppe) als Werbeagentur agieren, und eine 360° Kampagne für ein Produkt ihrer Wahl entwickeln, mit speziellem Fokus auf einen Fernsehspot. Sie werden dann ihre Kampagne dem Forum pitchen. Nach dieser ersten Phase werden die Teams einen Medienplan entwickeln.

Benotet wird die Entwicklung einer 360° Kampagne und eines Medienplans zu dieser Kampagne. Die Arbeit erfolgt innerhalb und außerhalb der LV in Gruppen zu je 3 TeilnehmerInnen, Sie bekommen online Unterstützung. Wesentlich sind aktive Mitarbeit, fristgerechte Abgabe des Abschlußkonzeptes (Pitch des Werbekonzepts), online Präsentation von Zwischenaufgaben, fristgerechte Abgabe von Einzel- und Gruppenleistungen.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Benotet wird der kreative und strategische Einsatz diverser Werbemaßnahmen und Strategien, die in aktiver Projektarbeit innerhalb und ausserhalb der LV erarbeitet werden. Die TeilnehmerInnen werden eingehendes Wissen über Konzeption, Produktion und Implementierung einer Werbekampagne erhalten, und anhand einer praktischen Übung lernen, als Kreativteam zu arbeiten.
Mindestanforderung: max. 1/2 Fehleinheit (4 Stunden), fristgerechte Präsentation von mind. 2 von 3 Projektteilen, fristgerechte Präsentation des Abschlussprojekts.

360 degree marketing today has more meaning than ever. In the tutorial you will learn how to use the new marketing tools of guerilla marketing ideally to reach the target group.

Werbung und Kommunikation sind meist nicht gratis. Umsonst sollen sie schon gar nicht sein!In Unternehmen und Agenturen wird ‒ VOR der Kommunikation ‒ viel diskutiert, was wo und wie kommuniziert werden soll, damit's möglichst „wirkt“.
NACH Abschluss einer Kampagne ist es dann umso interessanter, ob die geplanten Botschaften gut dort angekommen sind, wo sie „hin“ sollten ...In beiden Fällen kann auf Bauchgefühl und Erfahrung gesetzt werden ‒ das machen einige Werbetreibende. Andere wiederum gehen methodisch vor und betreiben Marktforschung.Werbewirkungsforschung ist ein breites, vielschichtiges Thema. Die Übung „Werbung und Marktforschung“ hat das Ziel, den Studierenden Einblick und Überblick über die Möglichkeiten der Werbeerfolgsmessung (vor und nach der Kommunikation) zu geben. Und anhand eigener, praktischer Kleinprojekte die konkrete (reale) Umsetzung (in Form von Kleinprojekten in Gruppen) zu üben. Sie müssen keine „große Marktforschung“ durchführen, sollen aber in Form von realen Kleinprojekten eine Werbewirkungs-„MaFo“ durchspielen. Damit Sie dann, wenn Sie's im Berufsleben benötigen, wissen, wie Sie am Besten dabei vorgehen.Inhalte:
„Kennen und Können“: In der Übung stehen „Kennenlernen“ und „selbst Ausprobieren“ im Vordergrund. Sie bekommen das Wissen vermittelt, welche Formen der Erfolgskontrolle für Werbung und Kommunikation im Berufsalltag eingesetzt werden (können) und lernen, sie selbst anzuwenden.Methode:
Vortrag (in Interaktion mit den Studierenden), Übungen (Gruppenarbeiten, Präsentationen, (Online-)Diskussion in den Kleingruppen).

Es gibt keine Prüfung. Die Leistung setzt sich aus Anwesenheit und Mitarbeit zusammen.Die Leistungsbeurteilung erfolgt während des gesamten Semesters „LV-immanent“. Bei den Terminen werden zunächst die thematischen Grundlagen besprochen und danach in den Gruppen gleich umgesetzt. Nach und nach werden die Kleinprojekte in dieser Form weiterentwickelt (auch in Einzelgruppencoachings) und einem erfolgreichen Ende zugeführt. Das Thema jeder Gruppenarbeit zieht sich also ‒ „zerlegt“ in seine Teilaspekte ‒ durch das gesamte Semester.

Die Beurteilung setzt sich gleichermaßen aus Präsenz (bei den Terminen) und Qualität der Gruppenarbeiten zusammen. Am Ende gibt es eine Maximalpunktezahl, an der jede*R für die Beurteilung relativiert wird.

Entwicklung einer Werbekampagne in einer Gruppe nach einem Briefing mit dem Fokus auf kreative und überraschende Ansätze und Ideen für alle Kommunikationskanäle.
Als Vorbereitung dafür gibt es während des Unterrichts methodische Wissensvermittlung, kreative best-practice-Beispiele, verschiedene Kreativitätstechniken und kreative Aufgaben, um mit diesen Methoden/Ansätzen Ihre ganz persönliche Kreativität zu maximieren für eine zielführende und emotionale Werbe- und Kommunikationskampagne.Inhalte:
o Die rechte und die linke Gehirnhälfte bei den Konsumenten:innen als entscheidender Faktor für erfolgreiche Werbung.
o Why, How und What: Der golden circle nach Simon Sinek für Brand Building
o „Geschichten und Gemeinschaft“, „Schmerz und Freude“ als Grundlage und Landebahnen für herausragenden Kommunikationskonzepte.
o „Überraschung“ als Erfolgsfaktor in der Werbung und Kommunikation.
o Die verschiedenen Archetypen nach C. G. Jung als unbewusste Wirkfaktoren für Branding und Werbekampagnen (mit Beispielen).
o Das perspektivische Mischpult: wie man durch framing und Perspektivwechsel zu überraschenden Ansätzen und Lösungen kommt (mit best-practice-Beispielen und Übungen).
o Wie Werbung kollektives Wissen und „Zeitzeichen“ verwendet und einsetzt
o „Trigger“ als Auslöser für emotionale Werbebotschaften (mit Beispielen).
o ESP (Emotional Selling Proposition) und RSP (Rational Selling Proposition) als Grundlage für Produktbotschaften.
o Strategische Planung einer Werbekampagne und Bestimmung von Core Values für die Marke und Produkte.

Aims, contents and method of the course
The exercise should provide practical insight into the daily work in the area of "advertising". The goal for each participant at the end of the semester is to have an exact idea of how a campaign will develop: from creating an agency briefing, through agency screening, re-briefing, the strategic approach, to the creative development of concrete ideas. The exercises take place in small groups, these groups must work together, create presentations together and present them. Sharing the job along the respective strengths and weaknesses of the group members is also part of the exercise.

Active participation, timely submission of the individual exercises and team works, oral presentation of interim work / intermediate steps
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Minimum requirement: max. 2 failed units, timely submission of all exercises / submission of all individual services, submission of team works
