    Aims, contents and method of the course

    The lecture aims to give an introduction into the basic issues and concepts of sociological thinking and research. It attemps to show, what constitutes the "sociological gaze" on social phenomena and how the discipline differs from other humanities. Therefore, fundamental theoretical and methodological concepts will be discussed and the elemantary fileds of reference, in which sociological knowledge is applied today, are put forward.

    Hinweis:
    STEOP für Soziologie-Studierende: Für eine positive Note sind >50% richtige Antworten notwendig. Achtung: Es müssen zusätzlich in jedem Teilbereich (Einführung in die Soziologie, Forschungs- und Anwendungsfelder der Soziologie) >50% richtige Antworten vorhanden sein, um eine positive Note zu erreichen.
    Beurteilungsmaßstab:
    Note 1 > 87,5%
    Note 2 > 75,0%
    Note 3 > 62,5%
    Note 4 > 50,0%
    Note 5 bis 50,0%
    Vorlesungsprüfung für Studierende des Erweiterungscurriculums (EC), als Auflage für das Masterstudium Soziologie, Studierende des Interessensmoduls etc.: Mindestanforderung: Für eine positive Beurteilung sind >50% erforderlich
