Aims, contents and method of the course

Zwei Fragestellungen stehen im Mittelpunkt dieser LV: Was ist Technikforschung und welche Bedeutung hat Technik heute im soziologischen Kontext. Anhand ausgewählter theoretischer Konzepte soll dargestellt werden, wie der komplexe Vermittlungsprozess zwischen Technik, Gesellschaft und Individuum aufgearbeitet und in empirisch sinnvolle Fragestellungen transformiert werden kann.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Vermittlung von fundierten Kenntnissen der soziologisch relevanten Aspekte von Technik, sowie der Fähigkeit, sich kritisch mit theoretischen Konzepten und empirischen Forschungsergebnissen auseinanderzusetzen.
