Aims, contents and method of the course

In this course we shall explore in more detail some of the strategies of ethnographic observation, interviewing and visual analysis. The course will be a mixture of didactic presentations and data analysis workshops. Emphasis will be on the practical work of ethnographic and other qualitative techniques. There will be opportunity for students to work with and present their own data, both individually and in small groups.
