Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Business aspects of different stages of a company (start-up, expansion/management, succession) should be analysed with a sociological perspective. For a selection, the course concentrates on operational functions (such as personnel (human resources), finance, accounting, management, marketing, communications and law) and the environmental relationships (with customers, suppliers, government).
Assessment and permitted materials
Written multiple-choice test.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Business basics should be acquired and the understanding should be developed to realize the role of companies in the social system for the active human and with respect to the environment. Future orientation for working in a company should be made easier.
Examination topics
The course has always lecture character, but in dialogue way. If possible, a guest lecture will give additional insight into the practice.
