Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The seminar is oriented towards the relationship between work and health. The form of work and the amount of income are determining Lebenslage und lifestyle. They are important for health risks outside of the working situation.

The working situation of persons integrated in long-term care will be of special interest. Related to a intervention project on health prevention the process and results of intervention will be evaluated.

Assessment and permitted materials

Immanent control of achievements via reviews and reports.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Relevant questions for an empirical study will be elaborated in teamwork. Integrating the participants into a project will give them experience in the field of empirical research. In small groups relevant research questions will be elaborated for evaluating the intervention process. A significant part of the seminar is field work.
