Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
"Ethnography " offers a theoretical and practical introduction to Ethnography. It is divided into three organizational units: In the first meeting (March 2018) we will discuss general issues of the theoretical foundations of ethnography.Based on this theoretical introduction students will create their own empirical "mini-projects" in order to study the application of different ethnographic research tools. These projects will be the main target of the following two meetings (April and May 2018) as they provide us with the opportunity for a deeper discussion of ethnographic research strategies and for methodological reflection. In the last meeting (June 2018) results of the 'mini-projects' are presented.
Assessment and permitted materials
