Aims, contents and method of the course

The course will be in English. Students may also use German, but are encouraged to use English.

Assessment and permitted materials

will be based on three parts (see above `Course Content`).

gain insight into:
- welfare-state research
- research of social changes
- research on the interrelationship between welfare states and social changes

mainly based on reading of the key literature in the area of welfare states and social
