Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The following course offers social-science students the timely possibility to prepare for their individual application process after graduation. A close personal reflexion concerning interesting occupational fields, task areas and job-related prospects as well as knowing the own hard and soft skills, has proven to be a helpful strategy to get occupational orientation and find a suitable position.
Therefore the first day of the course will concentrate on defining your personal profile as foundation for your actual application.
On day two you will learn how to read and interpret job advertisements as well as how best to present yourself in your resume and coverletter. Another key aspect will come to typical topics in the job interview and how best to prepare for an interview. The possibility to get feedback on your own self-presentation in a dry run shall establish security for future job interviews.
