Aims, contents and method of the course

In this seminar/ workshop Prof. Wacquant will cover 20 years of research
centered on his books "Body & Soul" (Leben für den Ring), "Urban
Outcasts", "Punishing the Poor" (Bestrafen der Armen), DEADLY SYMBIOSIS
and "An Invention to reflexive Sociology" (Reflexive Anthropologie)
disentangling the analytic and existential linkages between these books.
In the frame of the seminar, Prof. Wacquant will also give a public
lecture, 'Three Steps to a Historical Sociology of Neoliberalism'
