Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
To pass the seminar, students are expected to complete the following tasks:- Engagement with set readings and active participation in class;
- Writing an analysis of a piece of science communication;
- Group work and class presentations leading up to the development of a science communication project;
- Writing a blog post for a public audience;
- Keeping a research diary.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The grading of the course is based on the separate assessment of different tasks on a scale of 1-5:- Engagement with set readings and active participation in class (10%);
- Writing an analysis of a piece of science communication (10%);
- Group work and class presentations leading up to the development of a science communication project (50%);
- Writing a blog post for a public audience (15%);
- Keeping a research diary (15%).
