Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Das Seminar beschäftigt sich mit der globalen Energiewende und daraus resultierenden lokal-regionalen Konstellationen, insbesondere in Ländern des Globalen Südens. Im Verlauf des Semesters reflektieren wir die gegenwärtige Ausgestaltung (Strukturen, Prozesse, Akteur:innen) des Übergangs von konventionellen Brennstoffen zu erneuerbaren Energien. Dabei betrachten wir Schlüsseltechnologien, fragen nach dem Stellenwert natürlicher Ressourcen beim Umbau hin zu einer Grünen Ökonomie, diskutieren internationale Publikationen zu den Dynamiken und Ambivalenzen sozial-ökologischer Transformation und lernen geeignete analytische Konzepte und Ansätze für die Analyse kennen.
Assessment and permitted materials
Regelmäßige Teilnahme und aktive Mitarbeit, Lektüre der Grundlagentexte, Mitarbeit in einer Arbeitsgruppe (etwa zu Lithium, Wasserstoff, Kobalt, Nickel, Kupfer, Seltene Erden...), Präsentation der AG-Diskussionen und Ergebnisse im Plenum, Seminararbeit.
