Aims, contents and method of the course

The course introduces recent theories, concepts and topics of the anthropology of art.
This course is a lecture series.
Goals:
- To discuss recent major theories in the anhtropology of art;
- to present present topics which are of central relevance.

Assessment and permitted materials

- only written exams
- no supporting tools allowed

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

- one mandatory question
- from four other questions, two and only two must be dealt with
- if one of these questions is failed, the highest possible mark is a 3
- two questions need to be answered in a positive way.

Examination topics

The exam encompasses all topics which are dealt with during the lecture series

Reading list

- will be presented during the lecture series
- mandatory literature will be presented and commented in the first unit
- see as well the pdfs on moodle
