Wichtige zu behandelnde und in Diskussionen zu reflektierende Fragen sind z.B.: In welcher Weise unterscheiden sich Sozialwissenschaften wie die Internationale Entwicklung grundsätzlich und qualitativ von Naturwissenschaften und wie muss daher auch die Wahl ihrer Methoden dementsprechend ausgerichtet werden? Wie wird das Verhältnis zwischen Strukturen (= Kontext) und Handlungen von individuellen und kollektiven AkteurInnen in Gesellschaftstheorien, die auf unterschiedlichen wissenschaftstheoretischen Annahmen basieren, grundsätzlich bestimmt?
